GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two people were arrested Wednesday night following a shooting which took place just blocks away from a vigil being held for a teenager who was shot and killed the previous night.

Investigators tell FOX17 no injuries were immediately reported following the shooting Wednesday evening.

GRPD officers heard gunshots near Marshall Avenue and Hancock Street SE and stopped a car believed to have been connected. The shots, they believe, seem to have been aimed at a male on a bicycle. One bullet hit a house.

A group had gathered in the area of Marshall Avenue and Adams Street SE for a vigil for Marquaan Crosby, 17, who was shot and killed just after midnight Wednesday morning.

Police are hoping the target of the shooting will contact them.
