GRAND RAPIDS – Authorities with the U.S. Marshals Western Michigan Fugitive Task Force have announced the arrest of a fugitive who was arrested just 10 days after being featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted.
24-year-old Tarrel Washington was caught sleeping inside a home in Grand Rapids on July 21 after GRPD officers received a tip Washington was inside the home.
Uniform officers were able to surround the home and make contact with someone at the front door who granted entry to search the home.
Washington was sleeping inside and arrested without incident.
Washington was wanted for violating his parole in early June following a 1st Degree Home Invasion conviction which occurred in November 2010.
Washington also has a prior conviction for larceny from a motor vehicle on his record according to his online profile with the Michigan Department of Corrections.
