KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A woman reported that she was assaulted while walking her dog on Western Michigan University’s Asylum Lake Preserve on Wednesday evening.
The alleged victim told police that a man wearing a white t-shirt and red basketball shorts knocked her to the ground and assaulted her. Officers are in the process of obtaining a more complete description of the suspect.
Members of the community are urged to avoid walking alone at the natural preserve or to use extreme caution in doing so until the crime is solved.
