WYOMING, Mich.--A man accused of being naked in a cemetery was in court late Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Timothy Simonson said he was found naked at Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming back in June. Apparently, a woman saw him and called police...but by the time they got there, officers said Simonson was gone. He's now facing an 'indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person' charge.
He was on the run for about a month before the U.S. Marshals caught up with him. Simonson was arrested for violating his parole and failing to register as a sex offender back in July. He also spent two years in prison for exposing himself back in 2012. That time, he was wearing nothing from the waist down at Palmer Park in Wyoming.
And because he's accused of being a repeat offender, he's facing stiffer penalties: anywhere from one day to life in prison.
At Wednesday's probable cause hearing, Simonson waived his preliminary examination.
Simonson also has a rap sheet that doesn't include going publicly nude: his record includes convictions for breaking and entering as well as unarmed robbery.
