PORTER BEACH, Ind. — A body found in Lake Michigan is that of missing Calvin College student Chase Froese, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Authorities found her body about 300 yards from shore at Indiana Dunes State Park. Her family in Carol Stream, Illinois identified her body.

Froese, 20, studied business and philosophy at Calvin College. She served in a leadership role in her residence hall and was involved in the theater.
