BYRON TWP., Mich. – Traffic is backing up through southern Kent County around the opening of the new Tanger Outlet Mall.
Traffic southbound is backed up to the M-6 and northbound from 100th to get to the mall at the 84th Street exit. Many area side streets are also plugged.
The parking lot at Byron Center High School is also full already. Shuttles were taking people from the school to the mall.
