KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Health Department has issued a health advisory for a beach at Robert Morris Park after water tests showed unsafe E. coli levels.
According to a press release, samples taken from the beach on Campbell Lake failed Michigan’s water quality standards for recreation. The beach is located on East H Avenue east of N. 30th Street.
The health department is advising people to avoid swimming in the lake, and said signs have been posted at the site. Another water test is scheduled for Tuesday and the results are expected to be available Wednesday morning.
