West Michigan boy visits White House after bullying video gets national attention

Posted

HARTFORD, Mich. -- A boy from Hartford in Van Buren County  received national attention and props from the White House for standing up to bullies. Logan Fairbanks, 11, and his father posted a YouTube video where he reads hurtful comments made about him. The video caught the attention of the White House and soon the family got an invitation to stop by if they were ever in Washington D.C.

Recently, Fairbanks visited the Oval Office and even had the chance to sit in President Obama's chair. He also took some time to talk about the importance to stop bullying.
