Motorcyclists hitting the roads for Bike Time

Posted

MUSKEGON, Mich. – Muskegon Bike Time begins today and efforts are underway to make sure the roads are safer with the influx in motorcycles on the road this weekend.

Local law enforcement agencies of West Michigan and the American Bikers Aiming Towards Education (ABATE) are also promoting the importance for riders to get a motorcycle license endorsement.  Without an endorsement, bikers can be ticketed and have their motorcycles impounded.  Also, if you lend your bike to someone without an endorsement, you may have your bike impounded.

Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are coming to the Muskegon area for Muskegon Bike Time.  Visit their website for more details and we’ll have more from Muskegon on later editions of FOX17 News.
