ROCKFORD, Mich. - This week, dozens of kids in Kent County took part in the "Summer Slam" Baseball Camp at the Art Van Sports Complex in Rockford.
Current and former high school and college coaches, as well as athletes from local colleges and universities were the instructors.
The camp is a collaborative effort between the West Michigan Whitecaps, Meijer, The West Michigan Sports Commission and Baseball Concepts.
