SHERIDAN, Mich. – Two people were hurt Friday in a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-tanker truck and a pick-up truck pulling farm equipment.

Montcalm County Sheriff’s Deputies say that a 58-year-old Leroy resident was driving a 2004 Ford F350 pulling a farm implement when he ran the red light while heading north on S. Sheridan Road at E. Carson City Road.  His vehicle struck a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 35-year-old Spring Lake woman.  The collision sent both vehicles into a J&H Oil semi-tanker stopped at the intersection, waiting to make the turn.

A passenger in the pickup truck was flown to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids for his injuries.  The driver of the Jetta was taken to the hospital in Sheridan for non-life threatening injuries.
