NILES, Mich. – The toddler who was pulled from his grandmother’s pool last week has died.
Marius Criglear, 2, was rescued from the pool on Stateline Road on July 2nd and was unresponsive. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office reports that the boy died on July 4 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana as a result of the incident.
First responders immediately administered CPR until SMCAS Ambulance arrived on scene and rushed him to Memorial Hospital. Marius and his mother were visiting his grandmother’s home when the incident happened.
