GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 26-year-old man is facing an open murder charge in the Feb. 19 shooting death of Lamont McFall.
According to Grand Rapids Police, Joshua Jamal Beckford was charged Wednesday morning in 61st District Court.
McFall, 23, was shot and killed Feb. 19 in the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue SE, according to a release. Beckford was already behind bars on a different felony charge when Prosecutors authorized the murder charge, police said.
