DETROIT, Mich. — Mitchelle Blair, the Detroit woman charged with killing two of her children and putting their bodies in a freezer, admitted to the horrific crime Friday, according to FOX 2 in Detroit.

“I’m already saying I did it.  I’m accepting life in prison,” she said in court.

According to FOX 2, Blair was found competent to stand trial for the murders and said she wanted to plead guilty.  The bodies of her 13-year-old daughter Stoni and 9-year-old son Stephen were found inside her freezer in March.

A Wayne County judge told Blair to take another week before pleading guilty in the case, according to FOX 2.  She will be back in court June 26.

FOX 2 reports that a medical examiner said Stone died in May 2013 and Stephen died in Auguest 2012.   Another expert testified that the children were beaten and burned before they were killed, according to FOX 2.

Blair claims that Stoni and Stephen were sexually assaulting two of her other children, FOX 2 reports.
