4 people hurt in Grand Haven Township crash

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash Wednesday afternoon. It happened around 5:45 p.m. on northbound U.S. 31 north of Comstock Street in Grand Haven Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said traffic was backed up at Robbins Road when one of the vehicles was unable to stop in time, which triggered the crash.  A total of four vehicles were involved.

An 18-year-old driver and a 17-year-old driver, both  from Grand Haven , were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The other two drivers were not hurt.
