SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Eight boys ranging in age from 7 to 13 have been determined responsible for a break-in at Central Montcalm Upper Elementary earlier this month. The school was broken into sometime between May 29 and June 7.

The school had been entered and bicycle marks were found on the floors of the hallways of the school.  Also, two large teddy bears were stolen.

The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office reports that eight boys had entered the Upper Elementary and Central Montcalm Middle School on multiple occasions.  The teddy bears have been recovered and returned to the school.

The Montcalm County prosecutor is reviewing the case for possible charges.
