My daughter recently showed me the work of an artist she follows on Tumblr and on Deviant Art. She calls herself The Nameless Doll. She’s a film student in Sweden, and she’s a real fan of animation. Here an exercise she posts that caught our eye.
She takes animated characters, who tend to have exagerrated features, and she adjust their facial features to more closely reflect human dimensions. Most notably, she makes the eyes and cheekbones less prominent.
See the comparisons in the video and on her site, on Tumblr, and her YouTube channel.
