ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Law enforcement agencies in West Michigan and Indiana are searching for a 15-year-old girl who ran away from home.
Jordan English, a Battle Creek resident, ran away from her mother's home in Fort Wayne, Ind. while visiting in May. Officials now believe she may be in the Allegan County area, according to a release.
Police recently arrested a man in Grand Rapids who they believe has been with English.
Allegan County Undersheriff Frank Baker said in release that the department believes she may have been the victim of a crime while with that man. However, he was arrested on unrelated charges. His identity has not been released.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Department is assisting police in Battle Creek and Fort Wayne, Ind., according to a release. No other details about the case are available at this time.
