TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A Muskegon man is in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle head-on with a vehicle Sunday evening.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department says that Michael Jones, 25, was heading west on Leonard Street when he drifted over the center lane on a curve just east of 24th Avenue.  He hit a vehicle driven by a Tallmadge Township resident heading east head-on.  Jones was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered several injuries.

He was taken to Spectrum Health in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

Deputies say that Jones was speeding when he crossed the center line.
