SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A pig named “Pig” took a ride in the back of a Shelby Township police cruiser last week.
The pig was reportedly wandering around the area of Wold Rd. when officers got word of the unusual visitor. Neighbors were not only surprised by the out-of-place pig, but worried he would get hit by a car in the busy residential area.
Officers came to check out the situation, and ended up having to transport the pig to the police station in the back of a police cruiser.
Police said “Pig” had wandered away from his home on 24 Mile Road. And while the little guy did make quite a mess in the back of the officer’s car, Police were able to contact his owners and get him home safe.
