ADA, Mich. — A woman was injured Tuesday after emergency officials say the car she was driving collided with a school bus in the area of Fulton Street and Ada Drive.
Officials on the scene say the crash happened when the school bus was making a left turn onto Ada and the woman’s vehicle struck it. No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.
A tire from one of the vehicles flew off during the crash and struck a gas line, creating a minor gas leak. Crews from DTE Energy are currently on the scene.
The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
