BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Seven people are recovering from injuries and a suspected drunk driver is in custody after an overnight crash in Battle Creek.
The crash happened late Saturday night at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and N. Kendall Street.
Police say someone ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. A total of seven people were injured, two of them seriously.
Everyone is expected to be okay.
The at-fault driver had originally run away from the scene of the crash but eventually returned. Police arrested that individual on suspicion of drinking and driving.
