GRAND RAPIDS – The U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force has arrested a wanted fugitive in Grand Rapids after receiving tips from FOX 17 viewers.

23-year-old Dionte Sims, who was featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted in March, was taken into custody on Tuesday in the 2300 block of Timberlake Drive and is currently lodged at the Kent County Jail.

Sims is being held on several warrants including parole violations, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and fleeing from police.

Sims had absconded from parole in early March after serving prison time for stolen property involving a vehicle and weapons convictions.
