MICHIGAN– It’s almost April and many are wondering when the cold weather will be over. The National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration issues long term predictions on temperature trends.
The latest report shows that the probability for below normal temperatures is between 50% and 60% for West Michigan over the next 8 to 14 days. The darker the blue on the map below, the higher the chances for below average temperatures.
The report also shows increased probability for precipitation over the next 8 to 14 days. Michigan is in the light green and medium green on the map below which indicates an increased probability of rain between 30% and 40%.
The outlooks show that West Michigan is not out of the woods yet as far as winter weather goes.
