BALTIMORE — A traffic reporter for WBFF in Baltimore was caught in a back-up at the McDonald’s drive-thru Thursday.
During a live morning report, WBFF’s Candace Dold tried to toss the newscast to Traffic Jam Jimmy, who was attempting to order a fish sandwich.
“I’ve been in the car since 4 o’clock. I am starving,” he says after realizing he’s live on TV.
Unfortunately, it was too early in the day to get a fish sandwich, and he had to settle for an Egg McMuffin and a coffee.
It’s unclear if the stop was planned (there’s some noticeable golden arches product placement in the back seat). If it was, it doesn’t look like anyone told Dold about it beforehand.
According to the New York Daily News, Jimmy has his beard dyed orange to support people with multiple sclerosis.
