HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — The fight to end premature birth continues with upcoming events scheduled for later this year in Hudsonville.
Grand Rapids Harley-Davidson announced it will be raising money through its bike nights and signing people up for “Babies, Blues and Barbecue.” March of Dimes organizers said they have set up three live bands with the help of the West Michigan Blues Society.
Babies, Blues and Barbecue is scheduled for Sept. 13.
The March of Dimes works to end premature birth through fundraising efforts and educational programs. President Franklin Roosevelt launched the campaign to fight polio, but premature birth and birth defects later became its main focus.
