Thousands of bassinets-to-cradles recalled due to fall, suffocation hazards

BETHESDA, Md. — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a new recall this week that may impact new parents.

Below is the information on the recall, as well as a new recall for certain snowboard bindings.

Recalled bassinet-to-cradle

‘Dream on Me’ 2-in-1 Bassinet to Cradle — The wire supports on the sides of the bassinet can disconnect causing the fabric sides to lower; posing a risk that infants can fall out or become entrapped and suffocate.  About 13,000 units are impacted in the recall.  One incident has been reported, but there are no injuries involved.  Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Dream On Me to obtain a free repairClick here for more information on this recall.

Recalled snowboard bindings

Flow Sports Inc. 2014 Flite-series snowboard bindings — A pin can disengage and cause the binding to open, posing a fall hazard.  About 10,400 units are impacted.  Flow Sports has received 30 reports of the pins disengaging from the bindings.
