OCEANA COUNTY, Mich. — Starting March 14, Silver Lake State Park will offer off-road safety classes one Saturday per month through October.

- April 18 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
- May 16 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
- June 20 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
- July 18 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
- August 1 (All Seasons Outdoor Show, Oceana County Fairgrounds)
- September 19 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
- October 17 (Silver Lake State Park headquarters)
Silver Lake State Park headquarters is located at 9679 W. State Park Road in Mears.
All classes begin at 9 a.m.
Officials with the park said all riders younger than 16 are required to complete an off-road safety course and carry a safety certificate with them while riding on public lands.
