Kalamazoo men arrested on meth production charges

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two men were arrested on meth charges following a traffic stop Saturday morning.

A Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer initially pulled  over a vehicle in the 3700 block of Vanrick Drive and found “methamphetamine components”.  As the traffic stop was in progress another car pulled into the same area.

Officers found meth, packaging material, and a digital scale inside the second car.

Eventually, a search warrant was secured by officers for a hotel room where the first suspect had been staying.  Inside, they found more meth, meth components, and marijuana.

The two suspects are men in their late 20’s and are Kalamazoo residents.

One suspect was charged for operating and maintaining a meth lab, and  the second was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
