KALAMAZOO – This weekend it’s Family Hockey Day in the ‘Zoo – where you can skate with the K-Wings.
The team plays February 22 at 3 p.m. which has been dubbed ‘Pirates and Princess Day,’ thanks to defensive player Sam Ftorek’s new venture.
He illustrated a children’s book called “The Bright Knight.”
“After the game, it’s skate with the K-Wings, so you can come down and skate with us,” he said.
You can bring your own skates or rent a pair at the stadium and test your luck on the ice.
