Four arrested after drug house bust in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team arrested four people after raiding a house and finding illegal drugs Tuesday.
 
Area residents had complained to police that drug activity at the residence was affecting the way of life in their neighborhood.
 
Tuesday officers from KVET and the Kalamazoo Public Safety Operations Division entered the residence in the 1500 block of Palmer Avenue. Seven adults were located inside the home and investigators found crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, packing materials, several loaded rifle magazines and more than $39,000 in cash.
 
Four of the seven adults – a 25-year-old man, a 27-year-old man, a 33-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman – were arrested for various charges including possession of drugs, obstructing a police officer and warrants.
