MISSOURI- Dayrl Jackson is accused of shooting into a home when children were inside, then leaving the state.
Now, one of West Michigan's Most Wanted is back behind bars.
The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force tracked him all the way to down to Missouri and with the help of highway patrol there on Saturday Jackson was arrested.
Jackson is no stranger to the law and at just 29-years-old has made trips in and out of prison for years.
On the run since July, Jackson's most recently accused of shooting into a home in Benton Harbor with children inside.
A longtime criminal the U.S. Marshals tracked to Missouri where the Missouri Highway Patrol arrested him in a traffic stop while riding with his girlfriend from Michigan.
The Marshals say they were headed south to an unknown destination.
Jackson is in federal custody awaiting his extradition to Michigan to face both state and federal charges.
