Muskegon police search for hit and run driver

MUSKEGON,Mich - Muskegon Police are still looking for the driver involved in a deadly hit and run crash last weekend.

The victim was 28-year old Rory Robinson. Robinson was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Apple and Stevens in Muskegon last Saturday. The driver took off.

Tyrone Robinson, Rory's uncle says, "that was pretty cold blooded, I would not leave a dog in the middle of the street like that".

Robinson was then hit by a second vehicle. That driver did stop to help. Robinson was taken to the hosptial, but later died from his injures.

Muskegon police are still looking for the first driver. Investigators say that person was driving what appears to be 1994-2000 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban or truck. Robinson's family is hoping the public will come forward with tips,  "like I said I am really tore up about it, I  really wish someone will turn themselves in", says Tyrone Robinson.

The second driver did stop to help, but she is not in the clear. 33- year old Ronna Lifer is charged with "drugged driving" for taking prescription pill and smoking marijuanna prior to the crash. Right now it's still unclear which collission killed Robinson, so charged for his death are yet to be determined.
