EDGEWATER New Jersey — A massive fire broke out at an apartment complex in New Jersey on Wednesday evening.
According to local media, it began around 5 p.m. at the Avalon apartment complex. Around 400 were forced to leave the four story building as several crews worked to put out the fire. The fire reportedly spread so fast that crews weren’t able to shut off the gas to the building.
According to WABC, a few firefighters suffered minor injuries; no residents were hurt.
At this point, the cause of that fire is unknown.
