DETROIT, Mich. — Gov. Rick Snyder made quite the appearance on Sunday while speaking with reporters about the U.S.-China auto forum according the Detroit News.
Gov. Snyder told reporters that he suffered a “partial tear of the tendon” according to the news agency.
A reporter tweeted a picture of Snyder, showing him elevating his foot during the meeting with the press. Snyder also re-tweeted a picture showing him with his “achilles” injury.
Snyder told reporters that the injured happened following a short jog while on vacation in Florida. He said that he has seen a doctor in Michigan, and is expected to take several weeks to recover.
The Governor told the Detroit News that he would have been more inconvenienced if the injury would have happened during his Fall campaign.
