KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. – A car full of students in a rear-end collision with another vehicle ultimately resulted in a 7 car pileup on I-94 Saturday.
Emergency units in the area originally responded to an incident of a single car that had struck another vehicle in the rear. The vehicle at fault was full of students on their way to the Kalamazoo area- a 23 year-old male at the wheel.
By the time first responders got on scene, several other cars had gotten involved in the collision. The result- a 7 car pileup with several minor injuries.
The at-fault driver was arrested and lodged for drunk driving.
