GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Ronald Moser was sentenced to 35 years in prison Wednesday for possession of child pornography and exploitation of a child.

Moser admitted to setting up former WCSG radio host John Balyo’s sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy in hotels in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.

He was also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution and have supervised release for the rest of his life following his prison term. The victim’s family said that they trusted Moser with the boy, and that he was considered a family friend.

Balyo was sentenced in federal court to 40 years in prison Dec. 11 for charges of sexual exploitation of a child and possession and production of child porn.
