GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Right now, jurors in the Abigail Simon trial are trying to come up with a verdict.
The jury began deliberating Tuesday around 3:00 p.m. Deliberation lasted for about three hours on Tuesday.
Simon faces five counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sex with a teenage student. The alleged victim was 15 at the time, and she met him through Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School where she was a tutor.
The defense argues the teen raped the tutor multiple times.
