GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It’s not too often that police officers have suspects jump into their patrol cars, but one brazen squirrel saw an opening and seized the opportunity.
In a picture the Grand Rapids Police Department posted to its Facebook page on Thursday, you can see the furry intruder up by the back window. You’ll notice the rear driver-side window is half-way down, which is where the squirrel likely gained access.
Police say he eventually made his way free, and was not ticketed.
