CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - 4 year old Oakley Savickas is taking the trip of a lifetime thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation of Michigan. Oakley was born with a life threatening digestive condition that affects his kidneys, stomach, and liver. Surgeries, tests, and scans are apart of everyday life for Oakley, but his mother says "he's always got a smile on his face."
Fox 17 was at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport on Saturday when Oakley and his family arrived in style in a limo provided by the foundation. Disney World wasn't the only surprise for this special little boy. Shortly after arriving, Oakley noticed his grandpa standing across the room. After a few minutes he learned his grandpa was actually going to Disney World with him.
Oakley, very excited about the adventures ahead, says he's most excited to meet Mickey Mouse and characters from the hit movie 'Frozen.'
