KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police and fire rescuers had to use the Jaw of Life to get a man out of his vehicle after he crashed into a tree.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Texel Drive, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Township police Department.
The driver, a 44 year old man from Kalamazoo Towmship, was taken to Borgess Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
The accident is under investigation but police believe speed and alcohol played in a role.
