Man attacked by three men near a Battle Creek hospital

BATTLE CREEK, Mich.- A man is recovering after being assaulted early Sunday morning.

According to the Battle Creek Police Department, the man was attacked Sunday morning in the area of Howland St. and Oaklawn Ave near Battle Creek Bronson Hospital. The victim told police that he was walking in the area of Howland and Oaklawn when a vehicle pulled up behind him. Three men got out of the vehicle and started fighting with the victim.

After the men had left the victim realized he had been slashed across his ribs, by what appeared to the victim as a knife.
