LOS ANGELES — The University of Pennsylvania parties like no other.

So says Playboy magazine, which issued its Top Party Schools rankings. The magazine has been issuing the list since 1987. Last year’s list topper was West Virginia University.

Playboy claims to use various factors in determining deserving schools: “access to nightlife and musical events, and creativity when planning social gatherings.” Info from the National Center for Education Statistics, the NCAA, and the US Economic Census is also thrown into the mix.

Here’s the top ten:

1.    University of Pennsylvania
