ORLEANS TOWNSHIP, Mich — A family in Ionia County says they had a close call early Sunday morning when ten bullets were fired in their neighborhood.
Of those shots, they say three hit their home; one of them struck their 13-year-old son’s mattress, just six inches from his head.
The alleged incident happened around 3 a.m. at a home on Kiddville Road.
The homeowners believe the shots were fired from the street.
The Sheriff’s Department didn’t tell FOX 17 much about the case, only that it’s under investigation.
