WMU Tobacco-Free

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University announced Tuesday morning that the school has now gone tobacco-free.  This means all tobacco products are prohibited on campus.

WMU’s President John Dunn announced the the new policy with a small group of students, faculty and administrators on the pedestrian mall.

The new policy became effective Sept 1st.

The Board of Trustees approved the tobacco-free policy last December.
