WYOMING, Mich. — The 2014 28th Street Metro Cruise begins on August 22 and this year the event is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The cruise will last through August 23 and spans the length of 28th Street across Grandville, Wyoming, Grand Rapids, Kentwood, and Cascade Township.

On Friday, the cruise opens at 4 p.m. and includes an appearance from Jimmy Shine, who will also be available for free autographs.

One of the biggest attractions at the cruise is the pin-up girl contest. It is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Friday and FOX 17’s Robb Westaby will be a celebrity judge.
