GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- There are a lot of thrift stores in west Michigan, but you'd be hard pressed to find one with a purpose like Shelby's Place in Holland. Featuring everything from clothing to housewares, all proceeds go to help the animals at HHS.
Shelby's Place is currently asking for back-to-school items to be donated, and is offering a two-for-one deal on apparel.
If shopping isn't your thing, you can bring a four-legged friend to the annual Tails on Trails dog walk which is Harbor Humane Society's biggest fundraising event.
