WYOMING, Mich. — Power is out to nearly 3,000 people in the Wyoming and Kentwood area after a car smashed into a utility pole on South Division between 48th and 50th.
The road is still open at this time but as of 8 a.m. police and Consumers Energy crews were still on scene. Police on scene on that time could not provide any detail on what caused the accident or if the driver or any passengers sustained injuries.
A second pole was also cracked as a result of the first pole being knocked down. No word yet on when power will be restored to the area. Stay with FOX17online for more information and updates.
