Stabbing victim found lying in the street

PARCHMENT, Mich. — Robbery is thought to be the motive for a stabbing in the 5200 block of Weller Street in Cooper Township, just north of Parchment.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, and deputies found a man lying in the street with stab wounds. The man had been stabbed in the arm.

The victim told deputies that he was attacked by two men wearing black hooded sweatshirts. No one has been apprehended.
