MUSKEGON, Mich.- At least 80 people came out Saturday morning to learn self defense at Reeths-Puffer High School Saturday morning.
The self-defense seminar was held in honor of Rebekah Bletsch, who was killed on June 29 jogging down Automobile Rd. in Dalton Township.
Instructors from NorthWinds Martial Arts taught the people who were in attendance different methods to successfully defend oneself against an assailant of any size.
Michigan State Police along with the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies have since formed a task force to work the case. Silent Observer is also offering a $2,500 reward for any information.
